What a special evening in the Kougar Den! The Special Olympics otherwise know as Champions Together were a honored tonight and played a short Basketball game at halftime! What a joy it was to have those students in the building tonight! The Lady Kougars came into this game with the conference championship already clinched, but the girls were prepared not to share it with anyone, so this was must win to do that. Andrean came out fighting and really battled tested the kougwrs mentally and physically. It was a great test for us as a team as we head into the end of our season and prepare for sectionals. Ultimately the Kougars came out on top and clinched that outright NCC championship! The Kougars were led in scoring by Jenna Walker 12, Camry Krueger 9, Olivia Adams 7, Mallorie Rose 6, Reese Van Meter 5. Kougars travel to Griffith @ 12 on Saturday! Record is now 16-3 6-0.
