The Kougars defeated Calumet Christian in the championship game of the 2026 Kougar Classic, in 9 innings! The Kougars had to play from behind most of the night before tying it up in the 6th inning. This is the Kougars second consecutive year winning the Kougar Classic. Zack Mikash scored the winning run when he attempted stealing 3rd, and the catchers throw went into the outfield. 5 Kougars were named to the all tournament team for their play in the weekend long tournament.
