The KV boys golf team finished in first place with a score of 172 defeating Demotte Christian 199 Winamac 219 and Morgan Township 234. Leading the way and medalist for the night was Austin Van Loon with his second consecutive 39. Following that up was Luke Zander with 43. Freshmen Reese Glaser and Jackson Hooker carded 44 and 46 respectively. Drew Jonkman rounded out varsity scoring with 49. JV also added another victory defeating Demotte Christian with a team score of 181-223. Leading the way was Jaidyn Anderson with 43 followed closely by Carson Armstrong with a 44 and Owen Lubotina with 45. Cole Armstrong shot 49 and rounding out JV scoring was Brayden Hanewich with 58. Other scores were Isaac Deardorff 43 Ayden Lewis 53 and Sebastian Nuss 60. The Kougars will be back in action Wednesday hoping to continue their win streak by traveling to Curtis Creek to play Rensselaer.
