Varsity Baseball went back on the road to Highland on Wednesday. This was their second trip up north this week as Monday's game was postponed during warmups due to weather. The Kougars did not let the trip get to them as they pulled off a comeback victory to split the NCC series by score of 8-7. A three-run 6th inning sparked by a Lucas Parker hard hit ground ball got into the outfield and scored two runs. Parker would then read a dirt ball and take 3rd on the next pitch, the catcher would subsequently throw the ball into LF scoring Parker and giving the Kougars the lead at 8-7. Camden Murray pitched 6.1 innings of gutsy, gritty effort and Declan Murr slammed the door to finish off the victory.
