The Lady Kougars traveled to Boone Grove last evening to face off against the Wolves. Both teams would enter the contest undefeated, but the Kougars would walk away victorious and continue their streak. KV outshot BG 17-4, with a final score of 3-0. Lefty, Camry Krueger struck first for the Kougs with a beauty into the back of the net right before the conclusion of the first half. In the second half, Samantha Urban and Raegan Ooms were in sync and would work hand in hand to tally 2 more goals before the final whistle. Ooms, a talented freshman, tallied an assist on Urban's goal, as well as a goal of her own. Senior keeper, Rigley Pszonka, earned her 5th shut-out and clean sheet with 3 saves on the night. As for the Kougars as a whole, they are waist deep in the toughest part of their schedule and continue to dig deep. They face off on Tuesday at home against another NCC Conference foe, Hanover Central. KV's record now stands at 7-0-1.
